Jimmy Henderson
Jimmy Henderson is in his second year as
Assistant Athletic Director for academic success.
In his role, Henderson sets goals of academic
excellence, retention and graduation. He also monitors the academic
progress of all student-athletes, advises freshmen and transfer
student-athletes of academic policies set forth by Northern
Colorado and the NCAA and will develop, implement, coordinate and
administrate academic success programs.
Henderson came to Northern Colorado after
spending three years at Texas Tech where he was the department's
coordinator for CHAMPS/Life Skills and mentoring program.
Henderson received his bachelor's degree in
psychology from McMurry University in 1998 and his master's degree
in sports administration from New Mexico in 2001.
Jimmy and his wife Angie have two sons, Owen and
Cameron.
