HAYS, Kan. - Denise Kintzley finished 10th in a field of 97 runners to lead the Northern Colorado women's cross country team to a 5th place finish at the Fort Hays State Tiger Invitational Saturday.

Kintzley's time of 19:25.94 was just ahead of teammate Katie Wiederholt's 19:42.96, which was good for 13th. Other Northern Colorado finishers were: Colleen Sanderlin (34, 20:22.53); Kellie Callahan (41, 20:45.21); Allison McIntire (44, 20:47.10) and Erin Apsey (52, 21:17.10).

Charles Hillig Jr. led the men's team to a 7th place finish with his time of 26:49.37, which was good for 14th individually.

Other Northern Colorado men's runners were: Michael Trahan (27, 27:24.98); Jeff Holt (30, 27:31.97); Alex Grim (48, 28:11.10); Shawn Monk (70, 29:37.12); Ryan Woodman (73, 29:44.42) and Jorel Torres (31:44.91).
