Boyle talks hoops, Hawai'i, 'nastiness' in preseason coaches call

OGDEN, Utah -- Northern Colorado men's basketball coach Tad Boyle took part Thursday morning in the annual Big Sky men’s basketball coaches preseason conference call. He joined coaches Randy Rahe, Brian Katz, Joe O'Brien, Brad Huse, Wayne Tinkle, Mike Adras, Tyler Geving and Kirk Earlywine in disecting the upcoming season for Big Sky Conference men's basketball.

Boyle, whose team kicks off its regular season next Friday, Nov. 13, with a game against McNeese State in the Outrigger Hotels Hawai'i Rainbow Classic, got to share his thoughts during the call on this year's recruiting Bears class, the upcoming Rainbow Classic and what he thinks his team needs to do this year to take that next step toward the upper tier of the Big Sky Conference.
