Post Game Notes
- Senior linebacker Cristian Sarmento recorded seven tackles in
the first quarter, moving him into eighth in Big Sky Conference
history with 312. By the end of the contest he had 17 tackles,
moving him past Jordan Senn of Portland State (2004-07) into
seventh. Sarmento now has a career total of 340 tackles with 322
while in the Big Sky.
- Sarmento has now been in double figure tackles in the last
three games and in 15 of the last 16 against FCS competition.
- Quincy Wofford recorded the first sack of his career in the
final play of the first quarter, forcing the Bobcats into a punt
situation. The sack went for a loss of six yards.
- Dominique Ceja recorded the first solo sack of his career for a
loss of 11 yards and forcing the Bobcats into another punt.
- Freshman punter Cameron Kaman recorded a 50-or more yard punt
for the fourth straight game, punting one 50-yards in the second
quarter.
- Senior captain Joe Kenney tallied his fifth career interception
and first of the year and returned it 79 yards, setting up the
Bears first touchdown. The 79-yards ties for the fourth-longest
return in school history, tying Randy McCall vs. Cal Poly in 1982.
- With his 76 kickoff return yards on the day, Wofford now has
272 for the season.
- Senior wide receiver Cory Fauver tied his career-high with
eight catches and posted a career-best 85 yards, bettering his
previous total of 84 yards against Texas State.
- Today was the third time this year junior quarterback Bryan
Waggener has completed at least 20 passes in a game.
- Northern Colorado has recorded at least two sacks in six of the
eight games.
- After allowing five sacks in the first half, the offensive line
did not allow any in the second half.
