The newest member of the Northern Colorado coaching staff, Jared Burton begins his first season as the offensive assistant coach.

Burton spent the last four years as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Denver East High School. In 2007, he played for the Evansville Bluecats of the United Indoor Football League.

Burton spent two years playing at UTEP, backing up Jordan Palmer, and two seasons at Santa Monica College. He graduated from Alamogordo High School in 2001.
