High School: Competed in both football and track & field for Grandview, throwing the shot put... Named to the All-Colorado team by the Rocky Mountain News as an offensive lineman... Two-time Class 5A all-Centennial League selection and a three-year starter... Was a key factor in helping tailback Bo Bolen excel as one of the state's leading rushers... Set school weightlifting records in the clean (285 pounds) and squat (530 pounds). He also played on the defensive line in short-yardage situations.

Personal: Is the son of Jerry and Angela Ceja and has a younger brother Jerry Jr... Is planning on majoring in business at Northern Colorado.
