Jordan Fenner
Also beginning his third year with Northern
Colorado is wide receivers coach Jordan Fenner.
Maybe the deepest position on the team, Fenner
returns three that started at least one game a year ago, including
all-conference honorable mention selection Brandon Smith, as well
as several other redshirts and incoming freshmen who all have speed
as well as good hands.
In 2006, Fenner was at Southern Oregon
University, where he worked primarily with tight ends and special
teams.
Prior to Southern Oregon, he spent two years at
East Central University (OK) where he was the tight ends coach in
2005, the running backs coach in 2004, and the special teams coach,
strength coach, and recruiting coordinator from 2004-05.
From 2002-03, Fenner worked as the assistant
football coach at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (TX)
where he was in charge of the wide receivers, defensive secondary,
special teams, strength and conditioning, and recruiting.
As a player, Fenner was a three-year
letterwinner and two year starter at SAGU playing on special teams
and as a wide receiver.
Fenner earned his bachelor's degree in history
in 2003 from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. He went on
to earn his Master's of Education in sports administration in 2004
from East Central University.
Fenner was married to Kimberly (Owens) Fenner
July 16, 2006.
