Important part of a Huskies team that was undefeated (6-0) in the Continental Conference, was 13-1 overall and won the 5A state championship... Was a blocker for running back (and current Northern Colorado teammate) Andy Muns, the Colorado Offensive Player of the Year who rushed for 2,857 yards and 39 touchdowns... one of two Douglas County linemen (Joel Fassler) to play at Northern Colorado in 2007... 2006 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete (one of 11 in the state)... Also earned the Gold Helmet Award for top scholar athlete in the state.
