GREELEY, Colo. -- Northern Colorado’s men’s golf team opens up its season Saturday, February 7, against the Colorado State Rams in Florence, Ariz.

Young and talented is the best way to describe this years men’s golf team. With just two seniors on the roster, the Bears are looking to improve, led by the strong play of sophomore Steve Bidne.

Bidne’s talent was best showcased in the fall at the America Sky Conference Championship, where he took 8th individually, shooting 150 and helping the Bears to an overall team finish in 3rd place.

Another underclassman the Bears are looking to have strong play from this spring is freshman Kory Harrell. In his first fall with the Bears, Harrell had his best showing at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, where he finished in 4th place with an overall score of 217.
