Men's Golf In 15th At CU-Stevinson Ranch Invitational

STEVINSON, Calif. - After two rounds of play the Northern
Colorado men's golf team finds themselves in 15th at 38
over par at the CU-Stevinson Ranch Invitational, carding an overall
score of 614 (312, 302).
Senior Rich Lash is leading the Bears thus far with a score of
153. Lash has had fairly consistent rounds so far with a
first round score of 76 and a second round score of 77. The
senior is at nine-over par going into the third round of play.
Following closely behind is sophomore Steve Bidne who is at 10
over par. Bidne showed dramatic improvement through the first
two rounds. In round one Bidne shot an 82 and found a spark
in round two carding a 72, improving an impressive 10
strokes. Bidne is currently tied in 65th place.
Next in the standings for the Bears is freshman Kory
Harrell. Harrell tallied a 78 in round one and a 77 in round
two. The freshman has carded a score of 155 leaving him at 11
over par heading into round three.
Sophomore Alberto Dell'Anna is in 86th with an
overall score of 160 (76, 84), for 16 over par. Ryan Boshoven
leaves the second round behind in 87th at 20 over par,
carding a 164 (88, 76).
The Bears will play round three Tuesday in shotgun format
beginning at 8:00 a.m.
