Men's Golf Finishes 11th at Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

Northern Colorado men's golf finished in 11th place
at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate over the weekend -- the
second tournament in as many weeks for the Bears to feature rough
weather.
Northern Colorado finished in 13th after the first
day, a day that included high winds and high scores.
At the end of day one, Northern Colorado tallied a score of 617,
with freshman Kory Harrell -- in the top spot for the team -- only
5-over-par and tied for 15th place.
Bears' sophomore Steve Bidne finished the second round only one
stroke off of Harrell, tied for 20th place.
In day two, the Bears fought back and shot a team total of 297,
pulling the team up to 11th place. Overall, Northern
Colorado shot 909 on the weekend. Harrell shot 4-under-par in the
last round to tie for fourth place with 217.
The Bears have three weeks off before returning to action at the
Herb Wimberly Invitational on Oct. 27 and 28.
