Tim Bearman
Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Tim Bearman recently relocated
to the Greeley area to work as the Bears' men's tennis coach.
An accomplished tennis professional, with more than ten years'
experience, Bearman has been a USPTA Certified P-1 teaching pro
since 2003.
"I couldn't be more excited to work at the University of
Northern Colorado," Bearman says. "I'm ready to really get to work
with our student-athletes and to work alongside Coach Vlasak. I'm
really looking forward to helping this program move forward."
Bearman was a collegiate star at Kenyon College in Gambier,
Ohio, where he amassed 103 career victories and was four times
named a First Team All-North Coast Athletic Conference performer.
He also currently ranks No. 7 all-time on the Kenyon College career
wins list.
In 2003, Bearman was named Director of Tennis and Head Tennis
Professional at Lakeshore Athletic Club in Downtown Chicago, where
he worked from 2003-2008.
Then, after a brief stint in corporate America, Bearman decided
to return to collegiate coaching. He says he is ecstatic about this
opportunity and is ready to help Northern Colorado tennis return to
the forefront of the Big Sky Conference.
