The first game back from four games on the road ended in a 2-1 loss for the Bears. This drops Northern Colorado to 5-8-0 on the season going into Big Sky conference action.

Northern Colorado made it on the board first with a goal from senior Maryann Hoke.  Senior Teresa Prais rebounded the ball off of a penalty kick stopped by the Broncos goalkeeper and tallied the assist to Hoke.

The score remained at 1-0 going into the second half until Boise State's Shannon Saxton had a break away to tie up the game at 1-1 in the 58th minute.

At 85:52 Brandy Kickcox scored the game winning goal for the Broncos to provide the final score of 2-1. Hickcox made a cut to make it past the defenders and scored the unassisted goal.

Northern Colorado will now move on to face Portland State at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10th at Jackson Stadium to open up conference play.
