POCATELLO, Idaho -- Northern Colorado was not able to overcome a two goal deficit in Idaho on Saturday in a 2-0 loss to the Idaho State Bengals. The Bears fall to 4-9-1 on the season and 0-4-0 in Big Sky play.

The Bengals got on the board first only seven minutes into the match after Megan Stainbrook made an unassisted goal to put the score at 1-0. Stainbrook collected a rebound off of a defender to make the shot from the far right side.

In the 16^th minute of the game the Bears put pressure on the Bengals goal with sophomore Kimmie Feidler hitting the post and the crossbar and senior Sydney VanderVelde making a shot that went just wide all in 20 seconds.

Idaho State sealed the win with a goal in the 40^th minute of play off of a breakaway shot from Laura Perez.

Northern Colorado will return to action on October 23^rd as the Bears continue Big Sky play against Eastern Washington at 7 p.m. at Jackson Stadium.
