Northern Colorado tied an NCAA Division I mark with its 16th regular-season win against Utah Valley on April 11 - - but the Bears are still looking to set a new program mark after losing all four games they’ve played since. That quest will start tonight with a single game against UNLV before continuing tomorrow and all the way through Sunday with this year’s NCAA Division I Independent Tournament, hosted by Northern Colorado. The Bears will officially join the Pacific Coast Softball Conference next season, so the sun is about to set on their “independent” status
